The SBSCH or Small Business Superannuation Clearing House that you use to report and pay super for employees will be moving platforms and will be joining the Australian Taxation Office’s suite of online services from Monday 26th February 2018. This will mean that the way you access this service will also change at that date.
It is a FREE service if your business has 19 or fewer employees with an annual turnover of LESS than $10 million a year.
If you use the services of a BAS or TAX Agent to report and lodge your superannuation guarantee (SGC), there is nothing more that you need to do. Your tax practitioner will continue to do the job on your behalf with no change in the procedure you already use.
If you lodge your own superannuation guarantee, then you need to get ready ….. NOW!
From the 26th February 2018, you will be able to access the SBSCH from your ATO Business Portal using your existing AUSKEY or your myGov Account.
You can watch a ATO webinar recording explaining how this will all work via this link SBSCH joining ATO Business Portal which will explain:
